Day 11 – Favorite Ways to Recharge Your Body

Recharging is one of the most important self-care steps we can take to make sure we keep healthy and happy. There are many ways to recharge. There is no one way that's better than another. We are all uniquely different. That's what makes the Zebra so special. 


One of my favorite ways to recharge is to watch something inspiring or funny. I like to curl up in my chair under a blanket and watch something. I am a sucker for a Hallmark movie. I know they are predictable and usually kinda dumb but that tends to make me smile. I know what to expect and that for me is comforting. I also enjoy a good comedy. Laughing really is the best medicine as long as your ribs behave in the process.

Another thing I  enjoy is diamond painting. They have ergonomic pens you can buy that are thicker and make collecting the beads much easier for hands that struggle a bit as mine do. I can lose hours to this activity. There is not much to think about and the motions are repetitive and calming.

Then bonus, you end up with a beautiful piece of art that you can frame and put up or give away as a gift. The time put into these is evident in how beautiful they turn out. I love that there are so many different picture options. There really is a design for every style. Here is the last one I completed.
